Damascus, 3 Rabiul Awwal 1434/ 15 January 2013 (AA/MINA) – A total of 169 people have been killed during two days long operations of Syrian army by artilleries in several cities of the country.

      London-based Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) stated on Monday that many people were rescued from bomb-ruined buildings and 22 people including women and children lost their lives when army forces attacked the Muadamiye district of Damascus with vacuum.

      SNHR said that on Monday 27 more people lost their lives during operations. On Sunday, 142 people had lost their lives.

       Meanwhile, Syrian Revolution General Commission (SRGC) said that 15 people lost their lives when war planes attacked the Azaz town near Aleppo.

       SRGC also said after the bombings many houses were destroyed and residents fled to safer zones.

        Furthermore, SRGC drew attentions to the use of forbidden bombs in civilian residential districts according to agreements. 

        Lastly, the commission underlined that for months, Assad forces used cluster bombs over civilian residential areas and vacuum bombs which rupture lungs. (T.R-014/R-006)
