Bethlehem, 23 Safar 1434/5 January 2013 (MINA) – A group of undercover soldiers of the Israeli occupation army infiltrated into the West Bank city of Bethlehem on Friday (4/1) using a Palestinian Taxi that was confiscated by the soldiers just outside of Beit Jala city, northwest of Bethlehem.
According to IMEMC report received by Mi’raj News Agency (MINA) Saturday (5/1) eyewitnesses reported that the four undercover soldiers detained the driver of the Palestinian Taxi, and drove his car into Bethlehem, especially near the Rachel Tomb area and the Aida refugee camp, and through various main road between Bethlehem and Beit Jala; no arrests were reported.
Israeli soldiers repeatedly invade Bethlehem and its surrounding areas, while similar incidents of infiltration of undercover forces were also reported in the district.
In addition, Israeli soldiers kidnapped a Palestinian child identified as Ezeddeen Abu Sbeih (15) on Friday (4/1) morning while he was walking on the main road in Ar-Raam, in East Jerusalem. The soldiers violently attacked and beat the child before taking him to the Benjamin Police Station.
The child is the son of Misbah Abu Sbeih, a former Palestinian political prisoner who was repeatedly kidnapped and imprisoned by the Israeli army.
After Israeli ceasefire brokered by Egypt agreed on 21 November 2012, Israel still violates and murder Palestinians, especially near border.
Ahrar Center for Prisoners Studies and Human Rights in its annual report on Israel’s Violations of Human Rights (HAM) in the Palestinian Territory found that Israel has killed 290 people in Palestine.(T/R-010/R-006)
